You tend to forget how strong he was on the ball and he had pace too... Did you notice how many assists were from Giggsy?? It was King Eric that taught Giggs'y,Becks,Scholes etc how to assist. Cantona was a minder for the young lads when other players from other teams tried to get heavy handed with them. He would walk up, stick his chest out with his collar turned up and give a gentle push on the chest of the opponent with a steely eyed look and say "back away". They never argued with him and backed off.  |

Eric's goal against Pool in the cup final waa the moment I became a fan for life. Big moment for me. Only he would have scored it at that time.
