Hi everyone in TROM ... and Happy New Year to all. I'm a long-time United fan, who hopes to make my first visit to OT in the latter half of this season. Would be open to suggestions as to good ways to enjoy that experience. I remember George Best and Bobby Charlton in their playing days. I was/am an unapologetic Keano fan. I think (in common with most of you, I suppose) that Eric Cantona was one of the greats, in ways the flaws in character of the former two make their stories even more interesting. I am not a completely uncritical fan of the club, but generally I don't like seeing our players slagged off knee-jerk style. Obviously there are some players you like more than others; these days I am an admirer of RVP, Herrera, Mata, Michael Carrick. I hope we hold on to DDG and get him signed up to a new contract. Wayne Rooney has been playing great stuff. These are great times to be a United fan as LVG embarks on his rebuilding project. Look forward to getting to know some of you in here, and having the craic!
