So the Chelsea fan has come out and said he called him a manc cunt and not a black cunt and that he has lost his job over it, whether or not if he said he deserves what he's getting for just being a nobhead, a middle aged man acting like he was, I'd be to embarrassed to show my face again after seeing the footage of the incident If true though heads need to roll. You can't lose your job over that shit, it has nothing to do with work. I think most companies look at your public profiles on social media and other outlets as well nowadays . Isn't the first case where it's happened. I don't know the legality of it but I believe that employers should fire racist employees. In this case if he is proven to not be racist , maybe he has a case ? I don't know. |

Since racism is a criminal offence, I think the employee would struggle to win any case against his company for being terminated for that reason. I mean, if you admit to being racist , it'll get you in trouble with the law, so what good would come off disputing being fired from your job for it. It all boils down to PR and optics , nobody likes being associated with racists in any capacity , same applies, to a degree I guess, with people like that guy . Privacy is non existent though. Only way to ensure privacy is to delete yourself from social media. I've removed myself from Facebook, like haven't deleted it, but I do not post on it anymore. Dont update any details as well. Not on twitter and the others either. |
