it's like a win proves to LVG that what he's doing is working and shows there's no point changing it.
that goes for 3-5-2, rooney in midfield, not playing ander/mata/falcao.
SAF did it for years. because we were winning games there was no reason to sign (or promote) a top CM, even though our performances weren't great the last 2 or 3 seasons under SAF.
Have been having random thought that Herrera was not starting because playing him would make LvG's decisions about Captain Hairplug look even dumber than they did. Now that Ander has
played, LvG's comments on Sky regards the contribution the Captain made in mid-field put the manager at risk of having the men in white suits come to get him with butterfly nets and put him
in a nice Sun Room with Napoleon and Elvis.
