He's only given chances to players where injuries have left him with no alternative. His fans will use anything to mask his failings. Hopefully the board have seen enough.

25/03/2016 09:40, Report by Adam Marshall PEREIRA ON COURSE FOR OLYMPIC DREAM Andreas Pereira is aiming to move a step closer to realising his ambition of representing Brazil at the Olympics in Rio during the Under-23 squad's two friendlies this weekend. The Manchester United prospect came on for the latter stages of Brazil's 1-0 defeat to Nigeria on Thursday night and will also be hoping to feature against South Africa on Sunday, with both games serving as preparation for the main event in August. Although born in Belgium, Pereira's family are Brazilian and he is passionate about pulling on the famous yellow shirt, having represented them in the Under-20 World Cup final against Serbia last summer. "I always support Brazil," he told Inside United. "Always. Everyone puts the jersey on for Brazil and watches the games. It’s a special moment. "There is such passion for the sport because, when you’re young, everyone in the family likes football. The first thing you get when you’re small is a football. The next thing is a jersey of your favourite club. Everyone is playing outside in the streets and football is everything in Brazil. You don’t have to be rich or poor. It doesn’t matter who you are – if you’re white or black. You play football, everyone together, and it’s really nice." The Olympic tournament will be extremely important to Brazil as the country picked up a third silver medal in London 2012 after losing 2-1 in the final to Mexico. With two bronze medals earned in 1996 and 2008, many will feel it is time the five-time World Cup winners go all the way this time around. "It's a dream to play in the Olympics so hopefully I can do that," said Pereira. "I am working hard to get there and hope I can. It's an Under-23 team and obviously I'm 20 now. "It is very special because Brazil have never won a gold medal in the Olympics for football. It would be nice if we can win it for the first time. Argentina have won it before so we want to catch up with them! "My ultimate dream is to play for the first team of Brazil and win a World Cup. That’s my biggest dream. I know United can help me a lot with that dream and hopefully we can help out each other." www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2016/Mar/manchester-united-andreas-pereira-proud-to-represent-brazil-after-under-23-international-call-up.aspx

Pereira better watch his antics. He's a cracking little player but needs to show more professionalism.
Rightly dropped from the U21s. FFS, talent helps but it won't take you far.

Would love to see him given a go as No 10. Can dribble, glide past players, good vision and passing. My bet is Pereira could be surprise package of the season in terms of impact.

Manchester United forward Andreas Pereira hopes to go on the club's pre-season tour of China as he bids to establish himself under Jose Mourinho .
The 20-year-old enjoyed a successful trip to the United States last summer, scoring his first senior goal in the friendly against San Jose Earthquakes and impressing fans with his creativity.
But he struggled for opportunities under Louis van Gaal during the season and was excluded from all but one of the last 17 matchday squads of the Dutchman's reign.
Pereira is optimistic about his chances of more game-time under Mourinho and is also expected to participate for Brazil at the Rio Olympics.
Speaking to ManUtd.com , he said: "It was a very good first pre-season with the team for me. The weather was great in America and lent itself to some really good training sessions and the games were played at a high level.
"I learnt a lot, but mostly that you have to represent your club always in the best way, both on and off the pitch, and that you must always be professional.
"The goal was really special, but for me just being with the team and seeing all our fans was great.
United are set to face Borussia Dortmund on July 22 and Manchester City on July 25 in the International Champions Cup in China.
Pereira added: "When you play against a high-level team you can test yourself more, so you are ready when you come back to Manchester.
"They will want to prepare for the season too, so they will be tough games even though they’re friendlies. We have to prepare well and do everything to win, so they will be important matches for us.
"I have been to China once before and it’ll be nice to visit again and play in front of the fans. You can see that football is a huge part of the culture there and it is very nice to see such passion."
