United could have used the type of finishing that USA is showing. Can pretty much guarantee that USA is going to keep looking to add to the ass whupping after 2012. This one was pretty much over in first 5 minutes
Great stuff from the USA \0/\0/

Fantastic first half, even with the Triad trying to buy the ref....it won't matter!

Not sure why the referees get medals. Because they have to work their way up from the smallest games, training for years, and getting to ref in the World Cup is a big honor, and then getting to ref the Final is the biggest honor there is. Without refs, there's no game.

www.latimes.com/sports/sportsnow/la-sp-usa-japan-womens-world-cup-game-updates-20150705-story.html#page=1That was a great World Cup. Thoroughly enjoyed the last few matches. The women's game keeps getting better. This game was in danger of being a blowout with 3 goals inside 16 minutes, and then when Lloyd lobbed the keeper from just past the halfway line, it was downright embarrassing. My favorite players of the tournament were Klingenberg, Lloyd, and Rapinoe. And congratulations to 2nd place Japan, and 3rd place England.

I've had to eat some crow on this, first couple I watched the difference in pace was what I noticed, but what should be noticed is how well these teams play together, and the quality of the passing and movement. They definitely did great justice to the beautiful game with the quality of their play and the heart and passion they showed. BRAVO ZULU!

Successful World Cup. Hope my daughter plays when she's older with a lot less perves around. I take the point, but give over. Many other people haven't been getting the point, though. We all understand/agree that there are a lot of hot women playing in the World Cup. That's a given. We can even say which ones are our favorites, sure why not. Then let's talk about the football. Five pages of people going "phroar, I'd do her" or something is a bit lame in 2015.
