Women's footie has been big in the States for ages, right? Yeah, its quite big in Germany and France also. I think the only reason we don't have a women's team is because it wouldn't pay to have one. That seems quite logical when you realise its the glaziers who run this club. The standard in the womens game is ok, people who say its good and quality obviously don't watch football or there wifes are behind them. |

The women's game has come around quite a bit, the pace is faster, and the team tactics have improved. Now you see teams pressing and enjoying attacking football, where before the matches could be a snooze fest.
The shame of this WC is that god awful plastic shit they are playing on, the funky spin and bounces are horrible, and watching a player hit the ground and not always getting up on their on their own, pathetic..
Canada can grow great weed, but cannot grow grass...go figure.

The Women's game is looking good Goalkeepers aside. I'd love to watch a League backed by some money. Baffles me why these teams would share the same name as men's teams. I'd want to watch a League with it's own identity.

England ladies won their first ever knockout game. Congratulations to them.
Mildly entertaining game and a nice goal to win it for England.
Norwegian team were nice to look at. I hope it's shared showers afterwards. One for the wank bank.

USA vs. Colombia at Half Time. Man, this referee is not giving anything calls our way. Anyone else seeing it like this? The Colombians are (SPOILER ALERTZ!!!!) diving like a bunch of goddamn, um, divers. It's super funny on the slo-mo replay when you see a Colombian player have her shirt touched and then feels for loose teeth so the ref can see. Puh-leaze. Anyway, USA Women are really taking it to this Colombian side, but Andrade has some fancy foot skills. So far we've forced 3 solid saves from their keeper while Solo hasn't been troubled.

We need to play quicker balls into the attack. Rapinoe has not got the service on the break that she needs to be the threat that we need on the wing. I agree those Columbians go down quicker then a crack whore for a twenty dollar bill....
