He's good but...is he good enough? Can we see him helping us challenge for the title. He is Paul. This is him against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. A yyoutube vid doesn't show CDMs at their best, a lot of stuff happens off the ball but he comfortably had the better of Matic. And he's been the best player on the pitch any time he's played against Utd too. He's ready for a big club. A midfeidl 3 of Carrick, Morgan and Herrera is one I'd be confident of taking to any away ground in Europe and expect them to more than hold their own. And I include Bayern and Barca in that. Sweet. Reading a 24m bid has been accepted by Southampton but that could be just rumours. We need a player in his position so I'd be happy signing him. As I've said not seen a hell of a lot of him but hope its a good buy. Hopefully will kick start the spending as well. |

if it's all true and £20m initially is the price, it's a great signing.
these days it's nigh on impossible to get a player for < £10m and very difficult to get a player for < £20m, especially one that will go straight into the first team. much better for us than £29m for firmino.

if it's all true and £20m initially is the price, it's a great signing. these days it's nigh on impossible to get a player for < £10m and very difficult to get a player for < £20m, especially one that will go straight into the first team. much better for us than £29m for firmino. 25m is the fee I'm hearing. Still a good buy at that price |
