To any N.Ireland fans, or for that matter anyone else who may know but is Paddy Mcnair a shoe in for the dm position for them in the Euros? Look forward to seeing how he gets on in that position against a better level of opposition.

England are an attractive bet at 9-1. I wouldn't normally back them but think this time round they could be semi-finalists at least. Lots of energy in the team and I think they will be there or thereabouts.

the 90's called and they want their stereotype back 2016 is on hold here, wants you to know those figures are for right now. Yeh and they can't travel so why punish the fans that will be in attendance? I have been to the all of the major tournaments in Europe since Italia. 90 . I haven't seen major violence from England supporters in probably 16 years. In fact if anything the number of English fans travelling has increased. To ban the fans from having a drink for no other than a old reputation is outrageous in my book. |

Jokes aside I don't think it's because of 'reputations' and more to do with the fact it's Wales vs. England (or anyone vs. anyone).

Was really, really hard to find this  www.itv.com/news/2016-05-24/drinking-in-lens-banned-on-euro-2016-matchdays/French authorities will impose a 24-hour drinking ban in the centre of Lens when the city hosts its European Championship games. British Police, who will work alongside their French counterparts in Lens and other Euro 2016 host cities, said the bans will be in effect for 24-hours from 6am on four dates - including when England face Wales on June 16. The dates the city will host Euro 2016 games are: June 11: Albania v Switzerland June 16: England v Wales June 21: Czech Republic v Turkey June 25: Round of 16 Alcohol will not be sold in bars and stores in the centre of Lens, but will be available inside the 35,000-capacity Stade Bollaert-Delelis stadium. Assistant Chief Constable Mark Roberts, who leads football policing in Britain, said the alcohol ban is meant to deter ticketless fans overwhelming the northern French city on matchdays. The tournament starts on June 10, with the final held on July 10. |
