Does anyone do these? 'Long weekend' trips abroad to watch European teams? I did my first in February to see the Madrid Derby at the Calderon (the one Atleti won 4-0) and it was so much fun - remarkably cheap and easy too considering the importance of the game. Only about £300 all together - flights, accommodation (3 nights), match tickets and spending money. Will be cheaper now with the weak Euro. I obviously love going United but its a lot of fun to go somewhere new once a year and it can often arguably actually be less hassle than getting to OT for me...
Other ones I want to do include Roma, Juve (harder though because Turin doesn't have many flights), Bayern, Dortmund, PSG & Ajax. I'm currently planning Barca (even though I hate them it would be a fun experience - I want to compare their stadium tour to the one I got of the Bernabeu) with my friend because of an offer on Groupon.co.uk.
So yeah, does anyone else do these?

never done one like that, travelled specifically to see a game but i look for games whenever i'm away.
i've done a polish 2nd division game and a norwegian league game just because i was in gdynia/oslo respectively. good fun. interesting to see the different types of crowds.

I saw Ajax play at home. Had a beer with some ultras. Scary but thrilling.

Also saw Hamburg v Schalke in May just gone. Bloody epic atmosphere as Hamburg needed to win to stay up. They won 2-0.

Looking into Roma-Lazio in November. Tickets not that expensive. Might get stabbed but not that bothered because if I do then I don't have to watch Klopp make the scousers half decent

I've never done it, when i go abroad its for work or to sit on a beach. I would love to go to see a Bundesliga match though, preferably at Dortmund.
