I have been enjoying reading the comments on this website for a few weeks now so I think it is about time I introduced myself properly. I am a lifelong United fan who had the very good fortune to be educated into the ways of the greatest football club in the world by his Uncle and two slightly older Mancunian cousins at a very formative age. My first game at Old Trafford was a 2:0 victory against Aston Villa on New Years Day in 1977 when my chilhood hero (Stuart Pearson) scored both of the goals. What an introduction that was. Listening to all 4 sides of the ground singing 'United are back' after the second goal went in I was drawn in from that moment on and forever.
