This may not be news to you fine people, but I just found out there is a new Star Wars film coming out every winter for the next five years. Can you imagine how much money these assholes will make on this stuff.

Really don't like the idea of the spinoff's but they could end up being genius.

As I mentioned before our daughter took her eldest son too see it, Connor 9, as they both are Star Wars fans and when I asked them what it was like they both said it was brilliant. The only thing they did not like about it was killing off Solo. TBH, the very first Star Wars I watched I liked it but after that and the other episodes that followed I did not really pay attention too them and would only watch them if they appeared on tv and there was nothing else to watch. I am a Trekky fan myself and have watched all the old series 1&2 and films (Captain Kirk and crew & Captain Picard and crew) and do prefer them.

With regards to Kylo Ren, you guys must read a fan theory regarding his purpose that's making the rounds on the net. I won't spoil it for anyone, but its a darn good theory .
Thought the movie was great fun. Loved Rey being the main focus of the movie. John Boyega was good too. I really felt for Chewy when Han died.
The sequel will be great I think .

I've discussed the movie with my gf and perhaps disney's idea is to kill all the old characters and refresh the franchise into something new.

I made a bad move by watching Empire Strikes Back the night before I went to see it so anything was gonna be an anti climax. I'm very interested to see how Kylo Rens character progresses in the next film and what happened between him and Luke Skywalker. I like how they have decided to follow there careers from the early stage before they become Jedi masters. Its a good start for anyone that's never seen star wars. Its hard for people like me to think about Star Wars without characters like Vader.

Its hard for people like me to think about Star Wars without characters like Vader. I thought the same, but I choose to view it as a Star Wars movie without Jar Jar Binks instead. |

Thought it was a more than strange that they return to base and chewy walks past leia. They dont even acknowledge each other although best friend and husband was just killed.

Maybe Chewy is still broken up about it. |
