Motorhead's Lemmy remembered at Los Angeles service
2 hours ago The funeral of Motorhead frontman Lemmy has taken place in Los Angeles. The British rock star, who was born Ian Fraser Kilmister in Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent, died on 28 December, aged 70, just two days after discovering he had an "extremely aggressive cancer". Lemmy's son, Paul Inder, Bob Kulick, Slash and Lars Ulrich were among those who spoke at the service. After the tributes, Lemmy's bass guitar was plugged into a stack of amplifiers and the volume turned up, with the congregation applauding as feedback from the speakers filled the chapel.
