Man, I am still totally fucked off by Bowie dying. I've been listening to Bowie non-stop. What a genius. Something like 25 albums, constantly reinventing himself, not just riding the waves of music but pioneering styles. I've even been listening to some of his lesser regarded albums, and there are still genius moments on those clunkers. Can you even imagine any artist sticking around long enough to record 25 albums? Lou Reed checked out in 2013, and Bowie now in 2016. Iggy Pop is the last of the punk forefathers who were laying the groundwork for future generations in 1970. My favorite Bowie period is the Ziggy Stardust years, Ziggy, Aladdin Sane, Diamond Dogs. Jeez. I'm freaking out. Can't believe he's gone.  LEGEND.  |

I've been playing that Vid "Lazarus" over and over, Ziggy's last will and testament. He knew what was up, makes me feel like he
decided it was time for him to shift gears again. I'll think of him whenever I am out at night and see a shooting star, Ziggy
flying free.
