hi everyone. having finally exhausted the patience of my family with my 'endless ranting'(their words not mine!) i have decided to become an active member of the forum so i can exhaust all your patience instead.
I've been a utd fan since the mid 60's as my dad was a season ticket holder and ive experienced all the ups and downs since then. obviously a lot more ups than downs particularly during fergies reign but i remember dave sexton...me and my mates used to walk past his house discussing whether we should put his windows through...and obviously the current situation with van gaal which is about as low as ive ever felt as a fan.
it seems to me that the board have put the club in a position that it is difficult to get out of. get rid of lvg and replace him with who exactly? giggsy? mourinho?simeone?guardiola? or a n other.
change the playing style? lvg has sold most of the players who could play with width and pace and brought in sub standard journeymen like blind or unproven and inexperienced kids like memphis and martial.
maybe now youre getting an idea of why the missus calls it endless ranting!!!
anyway, hope to have lots of interesting and stimulating discussions with all of you about our beloved club, and who knows, maybe one day in the future we'll get it back...
