There's a huge difference between adultery and hating a group of people based on their sexual orientation. If you can't see that, then I have nothing else to say. Why ? Just because the target demographic is larger? I think adultery is just as bad. If you're capable of messing up the lives of those closest to you in such a manner, that's worse than homophobia. Homophobia is down to many factors - ignorance, religion, culture to name a few. Homophobia can be corrected through education and where the individual has been brought up in proper educated environments it is not usually even present. Adultery is vile. My mother's sister cheated on her husband for a month a couple of years ago. She has 3 sons. I saw the family after the word got out. It is absolutely devastating to those involved. I meet them now and then, even though they are together, I see them as a shell of what they were. You're doing it while in full knowledge of who you're hurting and in full knowledge of your actions. And in Giggs' case this isn't plain old adultery. This is shagging your brother's wife, for 7 years, getting her pregnant. That is as slimy as it gets. His own father said he doesn't know how any of his teammates trust him any more. But Giggs was repentant and now he is in the running to become Manchester United manager. Everyone must be given a chance to change. Especially first time offenders.

But that's for a purely footballing reason. Not because he shagged his brother's wife. But our top management, including Ferguson, Charlton, Woodward are endorsing him, which means they've forgiven him. EDIT: Our fans at Old Trafford have forgiven him. The entire world has forgiven Suarez. Who is a repeat offender mind you. Why not Aurier ? He's 23. He can change, he can learn.

Homophobia is however, vile and should not be tolerated. Aurier has lived in Europe long enough now to know that. Yet he still holds those views and expressed them to the world on social media. So he'll never change.

So he'll never change. Living in Europe doesn't make you naturally okay with homosexuality. If I'm right, legal rights to the LGBT community has been afforded in Europe only since the late 2000s. That's not long. It takes much longer than that to change the notion of people who have had views ingrained in them through centuries. This isn't something that has a physical proof. It is almost always culturally and religiously motivated, thus making homophobia a very deeply rooted issue in our community and not something which is as simple for others as it would be for us. I believe his views on homosexuality is down to his upbringing, no? A child is a blank slate, the environment he grows up in usually ends up forming his views. I'm not saying he can blame his parents for his views, but I'm saying they have a huge role in that. Just like he started off with a blank slate as a child, I think his slate can be wiped and rewritten. That's just what I honestly believe. Nobody should be written off after their first mistake.

So many are looking for 3 somes on dating sites and have open marriages etc. It's definitely going the opposite way of homophobia which is now considered a terrible thing. That's not nessecarily related to the Giggs thing but a general comment on why people don't find it as offensive. Giggs' Dad btw never spoke to him anyway. He abandonded his kids and never spoke to them for 20 years.

Renato Sanches really is amazing for his age. He is a strong lad at just 18 and shows a lot of maturity on the pitch. One of the best CM's in the world in a few years no doubt

I know next to nothing about Sanches. Is he another Carvalho or the real deal? The sample size is very small but he seems like a huge talent. Ran the show tonight. He's 18, dominated the biggest game in Portugal at the weekend, did the same tonight. To do that, at his age, is very impressive. He's big and strong but has great pace. Pretty much perfect cm potentially it looks like.

So that rules is out of the running then I guess, Heard tonight there was supposably Utd, Arsenal, city scouts there, along with the other top European clubs, there will probably be a massive scramble for him Come the summer if he plays any part at the euros

Even his you tube highlights aren't great yet, that's saying something. We should always be in for the best talent though.
