This kids just got everything about him - I'm going to say something, something controversial (possibly). I'd start him over Ibra up top and use Ibra as an 'impact' sub for 2/3 games...... Wouldn't be a bad idea to rest Ibra legs

Phil Nev said that Rasher needs to start as part of the 1st 11, Not very often is someone as talented as Rasher comes along and Nev believes he is one of those 1 in a million players that needs to be out there kicking some ass even at 18 Said he would never have wanted to defend against him His pace is scary enough, but then he takes it up another gear and is damn near impossible to deal with He's becoming undroppable.
I'm yet to see him have a poor game. He looks dangerous every time he plays, and he scores goals, I fancy him to grab a goal every time I see him.
Only a few months ago Martial was the young, undroppable, superstar in waiting. Whilst he is obviously still a super talent, he's getting overtaken by this kid at the moment.
He has 12 goals in 25 games, it took Martial about 60 games to reach that figure.
It's hard to compare the two though. Rasher started a lot of games up front. Either way it's amazing to have a local lad wonder kid. He's here for life and I hope we give him every opportunity to be a worldie

have to admit. up until maybe a month ago my opinion was that he kid needs protection. not being a starter, given time to learn from people like zlatan and even being dropped from the national team and play for the u21s i thought was a good decision. and i still think that he needs protection but right now my mind changed about him coming from the bench. i think rashford is a starter, he`s been unbelievable for the club in the last 7 or 8 months. he looks the most dangerous player everytime he plays, he scores as its something he has been doing for the last 10 years. and what i like most about him is his intelligence. the things he says in interviews are smart and he looks a really smart footballer. i remember him and martial last season, they looked like having a special understanding for each other. when everyone was underperforming and not showing up, martial and rashford came with ideas, passing, dribbling, double passes, flicks and stuff like that. he`s got an understanding for the game and for the movement of his team mates. probably not gonna start every single game, but should be one of the contenders for the starting 11. you cant say rashford is not ready when he shows performances like he did. i hope him or martial also get used to the right wing as long as zlatan is still here. martial on form and rashford on the other side of the wings...this is pure terror for defences, so hard to cope with that speed and hunger for goals. i dont know if there is anything that made me happier and prouder about being a united fan in the last 3 years, than watching the rise of rashford.

I love fast paced young guns coming off the edge, and taking on defenders in space. Having Rash isolated up top with two CB's knocking him around is maybe not the right place for him. Ibra can be the target man, or drop into space to release the edge players, that is without Rooney blocking Ibra coming down in the hole.

| FOOTBALL NEWS27/09/2016 08:05, Report by Mark Froggatt RASHFORD WANTS MOMENTUM IN SECOND SEASON Marcus Rashford has four goals from seven Manchester United appearances this season and the 18-year-old is glad to have momentum following a spectacular emergence last campaign.
The last of those goals was scored against Premier League champions Leicester City on Saturday and Rashford gave an exclusive interview to the matchday programme at Old Trafford, discussing his outstanding breakthrough into the first team in 2015/16 and his desire to kick on this term. “A lot of things happened last season and it is now behind me,” Marcus told United Review. “It was last season. I have to try and recreate those moments this year and to get the goal early in the season was quite important for me to get back on a roll. I am just looking to build momentum now.” Rashford’s first goal of the season was netted at Hull City on 27 August when the Academy graduate came off the bench to fire the winner in added time before celebrating with the travelling fans in the away end. Interestingly, he described that strike as the “most important” of his flourishing career. “It was a different moment for me and I don’t think I’ve scored one so late in the game before,” he stated. “It was an amazing feeling to be with the travelling fans as well, a brilliant feeling. It was instinct to go into the crowd in moments like that. You don’t think about it, you just do it! “I feel like that was the most important goal for me, to get the winner in the last minute away from home. I like the feeling that it gave me and I want more. But on an emotional side the debut goal against Midtjylland is still at the top of the list for me.” While discussing goals with United’s emerging marksman, it would have been rude not to ask him about his memorable winner in the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium last March. Unsurprisingly, he has fond and detailed memories about that 1-0 success against City. “In the game it was quite even so it could have gone either way,” he said. “We were attacking and then they were attacking. I think they had a bit more of the ball but they weren’t really threatening us. There were two times before the goal when I got on a one-v-one with him [Martin Demichelis] and he just nicked the ball off me. I knew what I needed to do the next time I got the ball so I did it. “Then I was against the keeper [Joe Hart] and it was just about relaxing, composing myself and that was what I did. After it went in, the fans were too far away but it was a good feeling with everyone coming towards you. To win the game 1-0 as well, to hold out as a team was great.” Marcus was talking to Saturday’s edition of United Review, the official match programme at Old Trafford. Play a diamond and we can start both of them. Ibra linking up play as a target man, Rasher running with the ball or leading the line. Mata/Mkhi behind then a 3 of Pogba/Herrera with Blind/Carrick/Schneiderlin slightly deeper. Only real losers are Lingard & Memphis, everyone else in our squad prefers the middle (or is at least equally adept there, as in the case of Mkhitaryan).
