Swipe at a certain persom in the squad perhaps? Reminds me of a debate we had here a couple of years back about the added value in having a bunch of local lads in the squad. This attitude can't be bought. It's so refreshing in today's footballing world dominated by merceneries, cynical agents and money-grabbing owners, who could easily attempt to abuse such a bond between the player and the club. |

Both Ducker and Winter had pieces about him playing through the pain barrier to try and win a trophy for Utd as his shoulder is bolloxed. But it didn’t seem to get much traction because he’s petulant, spends more time worrying about disadvantaged kids or is offside a lot. |

I think I even mentioned my struggles after a very similar spinal fracture. It takes a long time to ‘get right’ after something like that with posture and everything else being properly aligned. I suppose if Greenwood and Martial were doing the business, he’d get rested more, but their simultaneous dips in form for whatever reasons have really come at the wrong time. |
