So what's up with Marcus?
Is he still carrying an injury because he has been pretty ineffective recently (barring that one cross for Edi)...
He doesn't seem to be bothered or something...I can't put my finger on it but something is not right...
Maybe he just needs a decent rest...

Pogba seems to have found his best position playing on the left and linking up well with Bruno, with Shaw killing it up and down that side. Greenwood and Cavani are undroppable on current form. So there's your front 4. And we know Ole is going Fred-McTominay in the big games (like Liverpool and the final), so honestly Rashford should be rested up, he can be on the bench, but hopefully allow him the opportunity to sort his injury out.
Edit - by "He should be out the team" I don't mean dropped, not having a go at the kid, he and Bruno have carried the team. I just mean we're in a position now where his absence isn't going to be felt really, and we're better without a 50% fit Rashford in the side.

I haven't seen one if he is its stupid it could lead to a long term problem. Think we’re unlikely to hear anyone say “yeah we’re playing Marcus every week while he’s injured”. Rashford isn’t going to stop playing now to get whatever surgery he needs when he clearly cares about finishing the season and winning a European trophy and like it or not, will also want to play in the Euros this summer. He actually mentioned this season being really difficult for him due to injuries on that show he’s just done with Rio and Rooney for BT. Not sure how long ago that was filmed mind. |

Play him tomorrow night to terrorise Trent, then don’t even have him in match day squads until the final. Give him a full 2 weeks to recover. |
