Hello All
Fan of this great club since '92.
Yeah 8 year old glory hunter I then was.
Absolutely simple decision really.
"Support Manchester United or GTFO of my house!" he said.
He was my father.
All exaggerations aside, that was the best sporting decision I ever made.
ABU's say I never go and am just a glory hunter.
Well going to a game is rather difficult for a kid on less than 1$ per day or for a man living so far away. "But make no mistake..." I say, "...I miss no game"
What they fail to realize is, this club has given me so many beautiful midweeks Thursday's and weekends since 1992, taught me how to deal with pain of watching that "Messi" header and accept that "Shitty" goal, as well as the ability to fully enjoy the treble and THAT "Terryble" penalty slip.
Manchester United is my pick-me-up, my natural high and my only club.
Yes! I wouldn't have chosen it any other way.

If so we have a lot of yanks in RoM who will welcome you I am sure, they are all nut cases like all the rest of us in here but die hard United Reds just the same. Keep posting. I grew up in West Africa, 06°20'N, 05°31'E to be precise. But those dark days are long gone. Next time Man United is in Munich, i'll be in the stands. |
