How the fuck are the Dutch still playing Ryan Babel? No wonder they didn't qualify.

Really hope he gets his chance with us this season...
Timothy Fosu-Mensah is back in Manchester United kit and working hard ahead of the club’s pre-season tour.
The Dutchman enjoyed a superb campaign on loan at Crystal Palace last season, earning a regular place in the starting XI and receiving a call-up to his national team in the process.
He has returned to Man United and will hope to stake a claim for a place in Jose Mourinho’s first team during pre-season, which kicks off on July 15.
Fosu-Mensah, following a holiday to Spain last week, has been putting in the hard yards on his own as he looks to get himself in prime condition for a crucial couple of weeks in the United States.
With the likes of Marcos Rojo, Ashley Young, Victor Lindelof and Nemanja Matic all set to have rests which extend beyond July 15 as a result of World Cup commitments, Fosu-Mensah – a factotum on the pitch, capable of featuring in a number of positions – has a superb chance to impose himself during the early stages of the pre-season tour.
Mourinho’s use of Scott McTominay last season was a monument to how the Portuguese will always reward hard graft. Fosu-Mensah, emboldened by last season’s experience of fighting relegation, will certainly be a player to watch in the U.S.

Timothy Fosu-Mensah has no plans to leave Manchester United on a permanent transfer in the summer transfer window, sources have told Sport Witness. Jose Mourinho allowed the Dutchman to join Crystal Palace on a season-long loan deal last summer. He made 21 appearances for the Eagles, playing in both right-back and centre-back positions. Fosu-Mensah’s displays for Palace earned him a call-up from Ronald Koeman for the Netherlands’ international against England in November 2017. According to Marca, the 20-year-old’s form for the London club has attracted interest from Valencia. The La Liga outfit had reportedly contacted the Red Devils as they wanted to sign the versatile player in the summer transfer window. United completed the signing of Diogo Dalot from FC Porto, Marca believes the Portuguese defender’s arrival saw Valencia turn their attention towards Fosu-Mensah. However, the Dutchman has no plans to leave the 20-time English champions on a permanent deal as he still has a future at Old Trafford. Fosu-Mensah can play anywhere across the back line and also as a defensive midfielder. There are reports that Mourinho is looking to bring a new centre-back this summer. This would mean there would be increased competition for a place in the starting lineup, but Fosu-Mensah is ready to fight. Sport Witness also understands another loan move for the former Ajax academy player could be a possibility this summer. sportwitness.co.uk/exclusive-20-year-old-still-future-manchester-united-amid-la-liga-rumours/

hope he shines on the pre-season tour. I can understand another loan move, but would also like to see him feature for us. he needs PL game time though...

Big fan of Tim, but I would not be against another loan to a better PL side than Palace - especially if he's destined to sit on the bench and grab a handful of minutes next season which is likely.
Hopefully he can stake a claim for his position in preseason.

Bad loan spell again. Hope he'll stay and get some games at RB or DM. We need cover there anyway.

Might be making excuses for him but he's not had the best of luck, both managers that brought him in on loan ended up losing their job before Xmas.
I'd keep him here for the next 6 months now. Have him dipping in and out of the u23's and providing cover for the first team.
After a chaotic and pretty useless last 18 months he could do with some sense of familiarity.
Any reason why he wouldn't be available for the game on Saturday?

No idea about Sunday but if he is available it’s a good chance to see him in our setup...

Would love to see Tofu get a chance at RB. I see him as a solid addition. Never should have gone out.
