Where? Ashley Young kept Di Maria out of the team. As insane as that sentence appears, it is/was true. I think he worked his ass off. He worked harder than any other player trying to earn his place in the team. It took me a long time to warm to him, and when he was announced as a signing I didn't think he'd even be a starter. So, wrong again. Good luck to him. |

Not really and we have blind for that now anyways. He's on big wages ain't he? Could be cheaper for us to move him on. If Troy Deeney is worth 30m I think we could get 25m for Young. |

No matter what is going on with transfer fees, never in 1,000,000 years would we get 25M for Young.
We got 4M for Nani and Van Persie. About the same for Rafael. 7 for Evans. But we'll suddenly get 25M for Young?!
The fact that he's on big wages is just another reason that no club would pay us anywhere in the same universe as that figure. Who's going to pay that and then match his wages? And if they offer a big pay cut, why would he leave?
The very best we could get for Young would be somewhere around 6M.

I don't mind Young, never done anything wrong in my book and when he plays,he gives his all. He's talented enough to play a bit part I think. Mind you, I like Valencia too so I'm in the minority there too!
