If Hodor is involved, then nobody is going out that door.

While acknowledging the lack of substance in our squad in general, I think the midfield could do with some trimming (especially if JM plans to add to it).
Sadly I think Blind will be a casualty as he's not a first choice CB and isn't up to par in midfield. I say "sadly" as I like the guy, he gives his all and seems unassuming and uncomplaining as he goes about whatever job he's given. Maybe he will stay and play an "O'Shea" type role for us.
I'd be happy to see Fellaini go, he's had some good games but really isn't to our standard. For such a big guy he's not really that good in the air and feels like a red-card waiting to happen to me.
Wouldn't be surprised to see either Pereira or Januzaj go, as well as one of Mata and Herrera. The old guys might be culled by 50% too, Carrick or Schweinsteiger.
We'd be very thin on the ground then, but this is only assuming Jose brings his own targets in.

All the thoughts that Blind is going out the door kind of surprise me. He is a seriously intelligent player, and a valuable asset to the club in that he can play in more than one position. Keep seeing all the negative comments regarding him, but damned if I can come up with the reason. The players that have beaten him have beaten on a lot of opponents, and flat out, I think he has made more saving plays than give aways
Considering that there are a lot of managers that are not overjoyed at seeing Jose end up at United, and considering Ed's demonstrated lack of great success in the transfer market, I think that looking to see major changes/transfers might be a bit over optimistic
I think Mou can win the league with the players on hand

I'm not sure Jose will have a huge overhaul of the squad, I think he'll give chances to a few players this coming season before getting rid perhaps in January or next summer.
For me the players at risk would be Fellaini, Mata, Herrera, Januzaj, Schweinsteiger and possibly various youngsters/fringe players like Blackett, McNair, Varela and Pereira (not that he's had much of a chance). Carrick will only get one more season too owing to his age.

Want to see out the door: Rojo, Rooney Don't really want to see leave but maybe they should: Januzaj, Jones, Carrick? Want to stay: Mata, Blind, Memphis, Darmian, Herrera, Schweini etc.
Think will leave: Mata Think may leave: Blind, Memphis, Darmian, Rojo, Schweini, maybe Herrera
Jose's transfer business this summer, particularly the outs, will form the bulk of my initial impression of him. As you can see I fear a lot of players I want to stay will go. I really hope I'm wrong.
I will say this is hard to predict though, and its still very early days.

Herrera leaving would really challenge my pro-Jose stance.

Herrera leaving would really challenge my pro-Jose stance. I'm thinking he'll give him a season, but a few reports have said he's happy to let him go now. We won't know until a bid is put in I suppose.

Not so sure about the outgoings given the tiny squad dickhead left us with, if Ander and Mata get a chance and don't take it fair enough.
If they're sold without a shot I'll be proper pissed, but... given they'll both be back in training before most, then I'd like to believe they'll take it

Mata, Herrera, Memphis or Darmian going would really harm my impression of Jose. Schweini or Blind going would upset me too, but not quite to the same extent. If more than one of those goes it'll probably take Rooney leaving (not gonna happen), a couple of huge, Woodward wet dream-esque signings (not gonna happen) or an instant PL title first season (possible) for me to not turn sour on Jose.
