So did Jose Shaw has got some work to do if you ask me Got some work to do? In what way exactly? He's been our best defender all season. He's turned his shit around and is starting to shape into the defender we bought, he deserves credit for that. |

He's turned his shit around and is starting to shape into the defender we bought, he deserves credit for that. Being our best defender this season is hardly the benchmark for him. He still has a way to go to show he is a United player and can do it consistently against the very best. Against the very best is the benchmark now. United needed to be getting the right mentality back now, serious title challenges and CL finals. Shaw isn't close to the best LB and needs to keep improving if he is to get there. Were not fuckin Southampton you know. |

No but shit doesn't happen overnight. He's sorted himself out finally this season and he's getting there. He's improving which is all we can ask for right now. Remember somebody saying about him on Saturday against Cardiff slating the lad and yet he was brilliant at the back, winning everything.

His form has been patchy since he signed that new contract. |

Hearing Valencia will not be getting a renewal excellent news, be better if he could leave this month taking rojo at the very least with him I agree it is best Valencia is now considered the past as opposed to the future (or even the present) but I personally wouldn't put it down as excellent news in disrespectful terms to Valencia himself. I think he is a real pro, was a decent servant to the club and has a deep respect for the club. I never did feel he totally recovered from that leg break and he did do a decent turn at right back in more recent times. But he really has lost his mobility now. Good luck to him I say with respect. But the time is right. I think he should retire now as opposed to go to a lesser level |
