Wish list: Fellaini Rojo Valencia Young
Probably won't fit my favourite 433 so should be sold list: Mata Rooney Januzaj (controversial one but is Memphis stays I fear his days are numbered)
We really should be looking to generate enough in them to cover all our purchases this summer especially if we don't get pogba.

The only player I'm almost certain will leave is Mata - he doesn't fit Jose's methods and he is the one player who we might actually get a serious offer for (well.. for us - Porto or Chelsea would get at least 1.5x as much).
Can't imagine Fellani being sold as I think Jose will appreciate having him as an option in the squad. Rojo is no where near the quality we're after but will probably be here for one more season because of how bad our injury record has been in recent history.
I am extremely hopeful that Jose will eventually bench Rooney and play Herrera instead of him (once he gets fed up with how little he actually contributes). Best case scenario is Rooney out in January to pursue his childhood dream of milking every cent from the Chinese government.

Will Memphis play like he did in Holland consistently? Both of them have a lot to do in pre season

Definitely not enough players for a massive clear out. I believe even Fellaini may survive this summer. Probably just players like Jones (not regular starters) are set to leave, like Powell and Valdes.

I like Jones but he's become another frustrating constant sick-note like Hargreaves, Anderson and Saha before him.

I know people say experience is important but I'd let Bastian leave, his injury problems are really bad, his body is just battle worn, we have carrick with loads of experience. Can't have passengers this year

OUT (in order of preference): EDIT: in my list, Blind is the cut-off point. I want those before him to go, and those after him to stay.
Fellaini, Rooney, Rojo, Jones, Valencia, Blind, Schweinsteiger, Herrera, Januzaj, Lingard, Schneiderlin, Mata. •Jones has had 27 injuries in his time at United, experiment has concluded. •Fellaini is not and never was United quality and I can't imagine JM seeing a use for him or ever desiring to use that "Plan B". •Rojo... ah, Rojo. My defense of him was better than any shifts he put in as a defender. Seems like he completely forgot basic marking techniques and now gets done inside, outside, for pace, can't play an offside trap. I don't think he's good enough. •Valencia. Several years past his best. I know he's a sentimental favorite, but he's not good enough. He's not a defender and we have better wings. •Blind. Best position is a CM or CDM but we have better options. Maybe hang on to him as squad rotation player, but I don't think Blind will accept the demotion. He's also a symbol of LVG like Fellaini is a symbol of Moyes (and failure). We also have Tofu for that position. •Schweini. At moment during this Euros he was great, and now he's out with a knee knock. His body is gone, we need to face it. Keeping him fit and ready to the tune of 200K/week is a lot of money and effort. I would love for him to provide the leadership we need, and I love him as a player, but I think the reality is that he's past it physically. •Herrera. Love his fight and his passion for the club and its history. When given a chance he didn't really deliver. Might need better players than had alongside him. •Januzaj. We all saw a wonderkid, we all saw his goals when he was introduced. The loans have not helped. He has a bad attitude. I still believe. •Wilson. Bring him back. •Lingard. A local boy who has loved this club his whole life. Hopefully JM is smart and rotates in the starlets. I don't expect him to start but would like him getting experience. •Schneiderlin. Was over the moon when we bought him, but that player has barely shown up. I think he's largely been a disappointment. He and Herrera should be crushing opposition midfields and they aren't. Maybe JM can get him right. •Mata. I love this player. Crafty, full of guile, passionate.
Would like to see youth players like Bojacks, Tofu, McNair, Wilson around the first team.

Well balanced arguments. I think Jose can utilise Herrera and Morgan very well though. I think lingard and blind will pull out the stops in training and impress, the rest can all go, add young to that list aswell.

We have a paper-thin squad as it is so no way will we sell half those players. It would be insane. We'd need to buy another 6 or 7 on top of what's already come in

I understand the concerns about Basti's fitness but I think he's worth keeping hold of. Played over 30 games in all competitions last season which is about right for a player of his age and in his condition. I think if we can get another 30 games out of him this season he'll have been worth keeping hold of, as I don't expect him to be starting every week anyway.
Carrick may have a lot of experience but he's not the same mentality as a Basti or a Zlatan, these guys are leaders as well as being experienced. At the start of the summer I thought I'd much rather keep Basti than Carrick despite concerns over his fitness and my opinion on this hasn't changed.

We'd need to buy another 6 or 7 on top of what's already come in I get what your saying but just so sick and tired and of people earning vast amounts when they are way below the quality of what we need. Rojo injured for most of last season, do we really need him? Valencia at right back? I'd rather darmian and from what I saw varela will get better, add tfm to that mix. Young heck no he won't get better time to go is now pls Fellaini, not the right player for this club Bastian hmmm I am not adverse to him leaving to be honest. Mata for 30 million yes I'd be open to a deal if he will not be utilised properly to get the best out of him. Adnan I think is talented but that mind has to grow up to much talk of mental fragility, cannot have that at this club we need mental toughness to back up talent.

2 players for every position is ok for me
Memphis/martial? Wilson/ Zlatan/rashford? Mhiki/lingard?
Rooney/Herrera? Carrick/blind/tfm? Morgan/pogba?
Cbj/shaw? Bailly/Jones? Smalling/? Varela/darmian?
Ddg/Romero?
We can put through some youngsters and give them game time. I don't see room for names like Valencia and Young or fellaini or rojo and dear I say mata on this formation.
Bastian maybe and same for adnan.

I don't really see many players actually leaving given how thin the squad was after LvG.
Mata is probably the most likely to leave and maybe some fringe players like Wilson and Januzaj in January, and maybe a few youth players. Next summer I'd imagine we'd see Bastian and Carrick on their way out and a few more too, after being given a season by Mourinho to prove themselves to him.
For me it's kind of a double-edged sword. You don't want a repeat of the paper thin squad situation where a couple of injuries ruin the team but at the same time you don't want a big squad rammed with expensive talent stopping United's exciting youngsters from getting a look-in.
