Until his injury he was the best defender in the league. I'm aware of how biased that sounds but he really was. But right now would you put him ahead of Jones, Bailly or Rojo?  |

Wonder if Jose will end up pairing him with Blind, and having Rojo and Jones there as well. 2 kick ass pairings that have already
gotten an understanding in partnersh8p.

i guess that ends the need for a new centerback.
to be honest never thought we needed one unless they were 29/30 nasty and with bags of experience.
smalling, jones, bailly are good enough, still expect rojo to be sold in the summer unless he stays in the team

FTFY...Nice fix, be good to have 2 pairings, and given Jose's proven ability to improve defenders. Bailly/Blind and Rojo/Jones will come in handy, especially with the Champions League and other competitions, we get Griezmann and it will be time to buy silver polish! I like Blind there outstanding on the ball, and has a mean streak like Ander, sneaky mean, "Who me Ref" ?  |
