Tipped to return. That could be fun As manager? It'd be more than fun. As a manager it would be hilarious but as a player, it would be a backward step...or a very temporary fix at best... I hope we can all recall the way he slowed down our already pedestrian play... We aren't in great shape now but we need to move forward... I think he'd be a hoot as manager but we would probably end up being relegated...and it could be the wildest ride we've ever had... EDIT: I also recall the great goals but even so... |

I certainly don't think Pogba would be pulling the stunts he has if Zlatan hadn't left.
Don't forget in part he was responsible for Rooney being pushed out of the door.
No problem with him coming back.

The issue here is a club of Manchester Uniteds size bringing a 37 year old striker from MLS , who suffered an almost career ending injury not so long ago back into the most physically demanding league of all Europe.
If say city has midfield issues do you think they will bring back yaya toure ? ofcourse no ! Because thats not what forward thinking clubs do.
Agree that we may have a lack of leadership in dressing room but zlatan at this point of time is not the way to go imo.
martial and rashford has enough talent in them , all they need is a system more suited to their strengths

It's not a case of how much talent they have, we need someone who can score goals. Neither score enough. Martial has improved greatly in the last few weeks since some of his earlier poor performances but Rashford has been found wanting. It doesn't matter what system you adopt if you can't score when you should be doing. Zlatan should complement our forwards. We've been guilty of missing good chances. I don't know how Zlatan returning is a detriment to that. |

I don't have a problem with it. He'd be an impact sub from the bench. I didn't think Henrik Larsson would work out when we took him on a short term, but it did. He's a laugh Zlatan anyway, and we're short on laughs at the minute so just for that reason I'd take him.

It would be a 3 month loan not a permanent signing. It could take the pressure off Lukaku who has been awful this season. And he would keep Pogba in line. And with his greater technical ability and better hold up play he could bring our other attackers more into the game maybe getting more out of Sanchez, Martial etc. I am all for it.

Imagine him working with the young lads, they'd look upto him and even if he made a comment the lads would probably take it as a positive. |
