The beauty of signing Zlatan is he has retired from all International duties for his country, no more going away and getting injured, I can't wait for this season to start.

What a day, Man Utd TV goes live in Australia and the arrival of Zlatan, this signing reminds me of the arrival of King Eric, that is what I feel this guy brings to us, arrogance, swagger, style and charisma every thing that has been missing.
This interview was a classic, exactly what I wanted to hear.
That first game at Old Trafford we will hear he roar of the crowd here in Aussie

What a day, Man Utd TV goes live in Australia and the arrival of Zlatan, this signing reminds me of the arrival of King Eric, that is what I feel this guy brings to us, arrogance, swagger, style and charisma every thing that has been missing. The quality is going to be running 20 deep, these guys all are proud to be United players and they have had shackles on them for last few years, Jose is going to turn them lose and it is going to be a beautiful thing to see. I just listened to the interview again, the body language is totally relaxed and confident, he is simply stating facts that basically outline his entire career. An it is clear that he really seriously happy to be at United working with Jose, and I surely do expect the younger players to flock to him. Hoping like hell Jose puts the armband on him, because that man is a fooking LEADER |

In a United shirt he will have my support, I'm just not as excited as others about signing a 34 year old with an ego as big as his salary. The thing with Zlatan, he will give us something that we have been missing for a long long time!! Character and arrogance! I don't think anyone is going to fool themselves into thinking he alone will win us the league, but he is a player that will inspire others with moments of genius, passion and a straight up will to win. This is what we are missing!! We can continue to sign awesome players such as Kagawa, Mata etc etc. Nifty footballers.. But at the end of the day, these are players who do not lead but be led by others. We need leaders!!! We are just about to sign an absolute beast of a leader!!! Do you think Zlatan would have sugar coated the performances last season the way other senior players did?? No!! I am absolutely buzzing for this signing! Good points well made. I'll give it time and sincerely hope my doubts are unfounded and in a season or two's time, when he hangs up his boots, I'm as devastated to lose him as I was when the King retired. |
