I meant anything is better than Mkhitaryan, literally anything. Jose plays players out of position and expects them to adapt all the time.

He frustrated the life out of me like Nani before him, except for a much shorter time!
From what I can tell though there's no complaints about his professionalism, seems like a nice guy, and I wish him the best at the Arse (except against us!)

Always sad to see a player not replicate his best form when he switches to United. We could have really used the POTY version of Mkhitaryan. I couldn't see what was wrong. I don't think it's his "being soft" because he didn't go down with the slightest touch. I saw him as being overwhelmed, like he had the skillset but just couldn't execute the way JM wanted him to. At any rate, I only wish him well for the future. There is a difference between physically being soft and mentally. Mkhitaryan was absolutely soft mentally.

Mkhitaryan was absolutely soft mentally. that is usually the difference between the good players and the great players, not really the skill but the mental toughness to execute week in week out and when the team needs it. take quaresma, the guy had more skills on the ball that Ronaldo and nani put together in top form, but on the big stage at big clubs he just crumbled mentally.

He annoyed the piss out of me, but he's very hard to properly dislike. Not built for a truly 'big' club, but not through a lack of effort. The scouts at United should pop on here every now and again, you and others called it.
