Eh up

How do folks? I've decamped here from a certain other forum due to it being full of adolescents suffering from ADHD. 

At 52 I'm too old for that nonsense. My late dad took me to my first match at OT in 1972 vs Huddersfield (2-0 Best and Ian Storey-Moore). Went week in week out for many years and get along to 3 or 4 games a season now I live in Derbyshire. Mind you I didn't bother after going the opening 2 home games last season and basically gave up on LVGs football (especially at today's ticket prices)

After the dispiriting Moyes and LVG years am quite looking forward to the new season under Jose (isn't funny how excited you can still get before a ball has been kicked?) It would be nice to reassert ourselves over City again and shut them up for a bit. Whatever happens I'm sure it'll be an improvement on what we've had of late. Well it better had be or else we're in trouble.

There's a thread here where some of the more mature supporters regale some of the younger ones with match day stories etc from before their time. Hopefully you'll contribute there too . It'll be good fun to read for sure.

Good to have another old timer on board, welcome from down here in Oz (the night shift). Maybe there should be a thread where we can warn the youngsters of the perils of getting on. Actually, what was I saying? Who are you?

Anyway, make sure you read the pinned threads above from the Admin guys, that way you will get to know how we work in RoM, keep posting.

Oh yes a great show...even if Kenneth Cope (Marty Hopkirk) was a stalwart Evertonian.

I've read the admin stuff and plan to be sticking around. Seems to be relatively calm here compared to some other forums
