Athletics will certainly be more boring if this is Bolts last race. Don't think we'll ever see someone make it look so effortless. the man is a LEGEND! he will be in the relay so there is a little more to see. it's most likely his last Olympics, he probably will run in the world championships before he fully retires. but when he does go, the sport will take a major hit. he is a phenom. Just amazes me the speed he gets at for such a big bloke, not only that but the distance he wins these races by. He's only 29 so he could go do one more Olympics but the bloke will certainly be missed when he bows out. Never be another athlete like him again. Plus he's a united fan so I like the guy even more. Hoping he's the final leg of the relay as well and not 3rd like he has been before.

Just too easy for Bolt again. Absolute superstar. Felt for Gemili, thought he was nailed on for that bronze medal and the French guy just pipped him on the line.
Also well done to Jade Jones in the Taekwondo! She's really fucking good at booting people in the head!

To good according to the Aussies, Germans and French who have been moaning about it the last couple of days. Of course historically these countries are very supportive of British sporting achievements..... TBF, British cyclists tend to win next to nothing in between Olympic cycles, yet every 4 years, they turn up, smash WR's left and right and win everything in sight. Those countries might have a point... Everything is geared for performing in the Olympics but there seems to be some bullshit spoken about them under performing at the last World championships in March. They still finished on top of the medal table in those championships with 9 medals. I'm trying not the wear my Alex Jones hat here but it sounds like a convenient argument to encourage the British to share there methods with the rest of the world to prove there not cheating. Australians for example are some of the worst losers in this instance. In there mind if a British athlete is winning then there obviously cheating, how fucking childish is that?. This kind of thing is common in sport. Look at Football, the Germans and Italians are not very impressive between tournaments but come the big tournaments they really perform and normally make the later stages of tournaments, this is the opposite to England who become world champions in every Englishman's eyes between tournaments and then fall on there face come the tournaments then spend the next two years blaming foreigners for there failure.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the greatest, says Olympic gold medalist and history-maker Usain Bolt, also saying he surely hopes that Mou will give him a call, still wants to play for United. Sure as hell would be cool if he came an played in charity gig like was kicked around when Fergie was still the gaffer. Be a lot of money could get raised for something like that, or even better, make him an ambassador, he loves the club.

Another good day for team GB. Gold in the Women's hockey and individual showjumping (from a 58 year old bloke) as well as a boxer and taekwondo(er/ist) getting into gold medal bouts.
Really enjoyed the showjumping final. Very dramatic!

Bolt just taking the piss again. Level with the Japanese and the U.S on the last leg and beats them at a canter.
Did anyone see Lutalo Muhammad in the Taekwondo final? Fucking lost the gold with 1 second to go. Gutted!

South Korea's Inbee Park leading the women's golf at the minute.
Not necessarily good for team GB but good for me seems I had £5 e/w on her at 40's at the start of the tournament. Don't let me down!

Fuck all Lochte defenders say it was only a lie. Someone innocent could've suffered the penal sanctions because any justice system fails, we know that.
Not to mention it was disrespectful.

He's a moron Stret. If it makes you feel any better, he is getting absolutely crucified in the states. One paper called him a national embarrassment.

It's today. Both Brazil and Germany have zero medals. 7x1 comes to mind, both managers are used to the players due to continuity of their job, they know their players.
I actually have my face painted, sorry, too much emotions. Some beers, friends and loads of excitement around.
I've always been proud of our U23.
