Didn't see the Conlan fight, but was it as bad as this....
Saw a few pics of the Russian looking pretty beaten up, but that's it.

It was a disgraceful decision.
I boxed a bit when I was in college. A boxer called Fred Tiedt came in and gave us a few pointers. He was a great guy, very helpful but when he let a couple of punches go you knew he would have blown your head off. It was only later that we discovered he had been absolutely robbed of a gold in Melbourne. It was apparently the worst decision ever in Olympic boxing, worse than Roy Jones Jnr.

Unlucky Buatsi, thought he should've got better scores in the first round but the Kazakh fighter was just too canny for him.
Joe Joyce up now, another absolute unit but this Uzbekistan guy looks about 7 foot!

Also the debacle in the keirin meant I could watch the Joyce fight who got through to the semi's after dominating from start to finish.

The fuck is going on in this Keirin final? Looks really amateurish. Think that's the last ever fuck up in the Keirin we will see at a major event.UCI will be all over that.Should be a camera where the derny leaves the track to check for overlaps. Didn't affect Kenny though thankfully! |
