Hi everyone! I'm making my new member thread.

I'm Joshua (or just Josh). Like most American guys my age I fell in love with soccer when Beckham was at his peak playing for United. I've been messing around on Twitter and with podcasts to keep up with United but wanted to try out a forum for the new season.

More background on myself? How nice of you to ask!

I grew up in the suburbs of Maryland and still live there today. My wife and I recently got married and I'm typing this while waiting for her to get out of the shower on our honeymoon! I'm a lawyer but not the kind you see on tv. Favorite ever United player is Rudd van Nistelrooy, favorite of the last few years is Javier Hernandez (although I despise him when he plays for Mexico).

I have serious reservations about Jose gutting the youth system but he is a winner and I suppose winning comes with a cost.

Looking forward to the rest of the new season!
