I'm not usually one for starting these sorts of threads, but Gene Wilder died. I'm pretty devastated, I loved his comedy. See No Evil, Hear No Evil is one of my favourite films ever.

I've just heard this news. One of the all time great comic actors. Such a lovely person as well by all accounts. Rest in peace sir.

His work with Mel Brooks is still some of the funniest stuff ever put one screen. RIP Gene.

Yeah, this news sucks. 2016 is sure being a cunt of a year. I loved Gene Wilder in Young Frankenstein, Blazing Saddles, Willy Wonka, and the movies he did with Richard Pryor. And everything I've read about him says he was a super cool guy. Raise a glass, gentlemen.

The wife woke me up last night and told me as she knows I love his films especially with Richard Pryor in See No Evil, Hear No Evil, our daughter bought me the DVD for Christmas about 4 years ago and I have watched it many a time, a classic comedy. R.I.P Gene, your films will roll on forever.

Loved him. Young Frankenstein and the Producers are two of my absolute favourites.
