It hasn't even been a month yet but I think we can all agree that Trump has pulled the wool over his supporters' eyes. The Trump loyalists are circling the wagons because they've been so brazen in their ambitions they've left themselves no political cover.
In short, everything the lefties said about Trump and his team has been proven correct, and I mean EVERYTHING.
Trump is really bringing a white, Christian, pro-business, corporate, anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim, anti-science, anti-labor agenda to all facets of the gov't.
When Steve Bannon said Breitbart was the home of the alt right movement, he wasn't kidding either. Now those alt right policies are informing the appointments and executive orders Trump is making.
And Trump has proved he knows nothing about how government works, he doesn't understand the concept of three branches of gov't serving as checks and balances, and he doesn't mind causing chaos and confusion as long as he can Tweet about it. To pretend otherwise at this point is self-delusion. Even my parents who voted for Trump now admit it.
Not even one month in and he's already appointed people to head gov't agencies who have no experience/expertise in the field, people who have advocated against the very agencies they run.
• The person nominated to head the EPA has said in official testimony that there is not one single EPA regulation or ruling in 47 years that he agrees with, including removing the brain poison lead from gasoline.
• The person nominated to run HUD is a retired brain surgeon with no experience in the field.
• The person confirmed to run Education is a billionaire Christian dilettante who has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to destroy public education in her home state and who donated to the campaigns of 10 of the 11 Republicans on the panel who confirmed her.
• Trump is generally ignorant that he didn't know who Frederick Douglass is/was.
• Trump insulted John Lewis, having no idea there was a civil rights movement, having no idea Lewis marched with MLK.
• Issued Executive Orders despite the right decrying Obama's executive orders as a sign of a monarch
• Has issued directives that effectively dismantle the 1st, 4th, 8th, 14th amendments.

• Has vowed to end the Johnson Amendment that prohibits churches from engaging in political activity. Goodbye separation of church and state.

And before anyone says it, yes Hillary Clinton was a terrible candidate with tons of baggage, but the choice was between 2 fuckups, and there is no universe where Trump was the better candidate. There is no defense of Trump other than
