Dude. It's weird af the way he does it. Honestly. Whats weird about it? Genuinely, it is weird. And I'd be the first to call bullshit if it was something tiny being blown out of proportion. He literally seems to not know how handshakes work. Pulls the person towards him rather than moving his hand up and down. Also does this odd 'other hand clasp' thing which just creeps me out. It's like he strokes them or something. |

When he pulls the other persons hand towards him that to me is seen as a more friendly gesture and the lack of hand movement can also be atributed to the other person not really wanting to shake his hand. The other hand clasp thing where he's trying to turn the hand 90degrees? weirdly most of my older family do that... that might explain why I don't talk to them that often. |

It's like he decides when the handshake is over.  But it is so weird. I have never shook anybody's hand who shakes it in that motion. It is flat out weird if someone shook my hand that way I'd probably ask them what the fuck are they doing. |

Everything Trump does is to enhance his alpha male status. Shaking hands the way he does pulls the other person off balance so they look like they are the weaker person in any photos.
