Imagine actually going to war over Gibraltar. I wasn't sure waht you meant about this until I saw someone post it on facebook. 'Brexit' is going to get real ugly, real fast. I'm starting to doubt if I made the right choice by voting out I personally have never seen anything wrong or right about Brexit. Just seems like a weird and entirely pointless excercise. You guys just gotta make the best of it. |

Yeah I rambled some shit at the time because I was shocked people voted for it but I don't think it will have a particularly negative or positive affect and part of the reason I was shocked. All my family on facebook went crazy over it on both sides.

All my family on facebook went crazy over it on both sides. I saw some garbage from someone that I actaually know (I may have mentioned this) but he said.... "I feel ashamed to be a British white male". At the time, the whole process was worth it for that rant, I might screenshot the post |

The only real change so far has been a fall in sterling, and that was clearly expected by all should Brexit occur. The ramifications of the vote, one way or the other, will take a long while to materialise, so the reasons you chose to vote Leave or Remain are as valid today as they were last June. (Though the government look set to ignore the £350m pledge and near-instant lower immigration calls from Vote Leave, so if your vote was based on those you may soon have cause to switch sides.) |

Sarin nerve agent was used in the air strikes in Syria two days back. If so, the Assad regime needs to be put down like the rabid animal it is. I don't buy Russian and Assad narrative of it being the result of a chemical stockpile exploding. Not a little bit. Those fucking bastards need to burn for their war crimes. I saw some videos of kids foaming at the mouth and gasping for breath and it was like a hammer at my conscience.
How do those vile creatures sleep at night knowing they have scarred an entire generation of people in that country irreparably.

That's one of my many Trump fears: he will goad or outright start a hot conflict that will allow the Republicans to go on and on and on about patriotism and the flag and American exceptionalism and how you have to support your president during "war" --- all the things they did not do under Obama. It worked for Dubya. I don't think Trump will ever be able to buy the good will or the patience of the population as a whole, though. His current popularity is at a record low. Something like only 36% approve of the job he is doing.
