Gladly so. She's a hateful toad. Vile. She's going to be obliterated on Sunday anyway. After Trump, I think I'll wait till the official announcement. Polls aren't trustworthy anymore. But I too think she will lose .

Trump was 2-3 points behind Hillary nationally (and note that he did lose the nationwide vote by 2 points so some of those polls were spot on). Brexit was 1-2 points behind. Le Pen is about 22-23 points behind last time I checked. A huge, huge difference.

They notably made it look like her father would be electable as a protest against the other candidates before backtracking when it really mattered.

Saw a heartbreaking video made by a rape survivor , Taylor Hirth, about how the new healthcare bill would tear her world apart but ensure , ironically, that her rapist's healthcare isn't affected.
Unbelievable . I can't fathom how Americans have to wake up to this shit. My sympathies.

I voted Leave. I AM NOT FAR RIGHT. Wish people would stop repeating that shite. I also knew exactly what I was voting for and I do not believe I have forfeited my unborn grandchildrens' future or whatever other bullshit Tim Farron peddles.
It's as bad as that guy from Gorillaz saying 'the youth of today' aren't being listened to. Bollocks. The ones who agree with his way of thinking are just losing elections. He talked about his daughter being frustrated at not being able vote and have a say at 17. I grew up during the toxic, anti-politics, all-spin, all-personality contest, fuck small business and anyone aspirational 'New Labour' years and nobody famous bitched about me not getting to have a say. Also, what is 'young' anyway? I am now too old for my voice to count as 'young'? For once, I am being listened to and it's brilliant.
Sometimes, people with differing views get to play. That's how a democracy works. Doesn't make everybody who thinks Brexit is a good thing Far Right.

That's how a democracy works. Doesn't make everybody who thinks Brexit is a good thing Far Right. You were in the minority of informed Brexit voters. The majority of Brexit voters were swayed by nationalists pushing their immigration lies and propaganda. Like it or not that's what won it for your side. Same as with Trump and the votes he won.

This whole Trumpcare/healthcare replacement thing is rooted in the pernicious belief that each person is a self-sufficient island. That's why you hear things like "You don't have the right to make me pay for someone else's health care". Our infrastructure (roads, bridges, tunnels, power plants, energy grids, airports, etc.) are all at the end of their life spans. There was a big building push in the 50s and 60s, and these things were good for 50 or so years. Right now we need massive investment in infrastructure but that requires taxes. So people here don't get the concept of taxation.
We also have this odious belief that Jesus rewards wealthy people, or that if you are Christian you will be free from illness and poverty. This shit is peddled by Joel Osteen and others.
The other part of this calamity is that the slave states never gave up their fucked up belief that owning another person was legit. They can dress the Civil War in all kinds of ridiculous clothing, the most predominant being that it was the war for states' rights, but a casual read of history shows this is demonstrably false.
My country was founded on unjust principles that were expanded on over time. We went from colonies where only white, free, landowning males could vote, to whatever the fuck we have now, which is half the country refusing to admit the systemic racism that has kept generation after generation poor, and poverty leads to shit schools, and those lead to ignorance, and that leads to crime, and repeat.
Sorry, I'm rambling. Fuck Trump.
