De Gea needs to play in this. Romero can have some league games. Might seem a bit harsh but there's no room for sentiment now.

Was discussing this with a mate last night, it would be a bit harsh as he's not let us down... But I'd get over it swiftly. Jose already alluded to the fact he may not play, saying he doesn't have specific players for specific tournaments, and that Romero has played in the League, Dave in the cups etc. |

Nice to see the poll back on track again, no 10 commandments or thereabouts and no lose.
As per normal a win for me but please Jose no potato head, I would rather play with 10 and that waste of space making it 11 players, put him on the subs bench if you must and make him strip off with 30 seconds to go then tell him to sit back on his arse.

Romero's been good in the Europa, but he isn't Dave. You don't have the best keeper in the world on the bench when you're trying to win a trophy, regardless of who the other keeper is. Romero's played more games this season than probably any other reserve keeper at any other top club in Europe. He's played more games than he would've expected to play. He'll get a medal if we win, and he'll deserve it. That's as far as the sentiment should go I'm afraid. |

if we go out to defend the result im giving up on football. i fully expect us to go out and there and go for it, the proper man utd way. go out to win and we will win. not for 45 minutes but for the full game. they have to come and attack and we have the ability to beats these on the counter or with the ball all of the game. take control of the possession and create chance after chance. theres 2 game left of the season, it doesn't matter how tired you are you have to find that determination.
DDG has to start this game, no room for sentiment. Romero should get it.

LB we are in a shit position, but after the way Tuanzebe played at RB i have every confidence he can do a job at LB. definitely a silver lining from the arsenal game. now i get the hype around him. i would have lingard in the middle 3 for energy, getting past mata and making runs. mata coming inside.

He'll probably get a move in the summer and finally be first choice somewhere, and he'll also deserve the medal he would get were we to win the competition. He's improved a lot from those first few games under LVG where he made me clench my arsehole at least twice a game. |
