Aye the Scousers are banging on about how much easier our route to the final was compared to theirs. Might have seemed that way on paper but someone had to knock out those supposedly superior teams.

Their famous European cups were won when European giants such as Crusaders, Trabzonspor, FC Zurich and Oulon stood in their way.

Never seen fans so fucking salty over something their own team wasn't even involved in. Always in our shadows and they fucking hate it.
Doesn't matter how you get there or who you face. Its how you perform, we outplayed Ajax and deserved to win it...THAT is all that matters.
They are so obsessed over a team (a team that apparently are on the decline) that when they finished the season their first achievement was that they finished above us, not the fact they had champions league football.
They dont even have to try very hard to highlight themselves as the deluded fucktards that they are.

sportwitness.co.uk/ajax-star-thrilled-recognition-manchester-united-players-i-even-forgot-defeat/The last six months have been wonderful for David Neres. He was only 19 in January when he left São Paulo and was signed by Ajax on a €10m+ deal. And surprisingly, the youngster was able to make a quick impact at the Dutch side with five goals and four assists in 16 appearances.. The winger was brought on after 62 minutes in the Europa League Final, but as Manchester United were already winning 2-0, there wasn’t much he could to stop Jose Mourinho getting his hands on the trophy. However, he was still very happy with something that night: the way he was treated by Manchester United players. Neres attended ESPN Brasil’s show Futebol No Mundo on Thursday, and when speaking of the things that impressed him most in Europe, he said the contact he had with Wayne Rooney was one of the best. “Rooney knew my name! I couldn’t imagine that. At the end of the game, he greeted me and said my name. I couldn’t imagine. “I was a bit upset because we lost the game. Then he came, greeted me, said my name, I even forgot the defeat. Pogba too, some of of Manchester players.” Maybe Neres forgot his name was written on the back of his shirt. But let’s not spoil the joy of a happy 20-year-old kid.
