Thoughts on how we might potentially lineup next season if we were to secure the targets heavily linked with the club i.e. Lindelolf (Signed), Morata, Perisic, Fabinho??

Is what I personally would like to see. Ditching Marital and/or Rashford for new players is madness. Both are far more talented than pretty much anyone we've been rumored to be targeting (especially Perisic! If 29 year old Croatian Ashley Young is the reason Rashford or Martial don't get enough game time next season i'll be appalled).

Curious as to what everyone thinks our first XI is, heading into the start of the season, now we're pretty much done with transfers this window, barring a very late surprise.
My formation, pretty vanilla, would look like

------Herrera----Matic-----Pogba
-Mata-------Mkhitaryan--------Rashford*---
-----------------Luke------------------
I fully expect Jones to be displaced by Lindelof once he finds his feet, and adjusts to the speed of EPL.
I believe Rashford is not a nailed on starter; Martial is a bigger threat out wide. So unless Lukaku doesn't start some games, those 2 have to fight it out for that position.
Darmian vs. Blind vs. Demi?? (Obviously Shaw once fit)
Darmian is a solid squad player. Not a great LB obviously, but I believe he can adjust better given the chance. Blind is slower and his passing too inconsistent to make up for it. Playing Blind does give the team better balance right now, but that can easily change if Darmian improves just a little.
Or would you take neither, and say Demi, we have a somewhat soft run to start the season, you're a natural LB, let's see what you got? Since Shaw is out for at least another month, this is a big question for me.
As much as I'd love all of Martial, Rashford, Lukaku playing, who do you take out of the formation? Take Mata out, Mkhi to RAM, then Rashford into the middle? Something like

Pretty shoehorned for me, but there are advantages.
Asks Pogba to be more defensive (i.e last season Pogba), Rashford is not a natural support striker, therefore Lukaku has to drop back a little, or be the hold up man (which he obviously can do, but is that best?), asks a lot more of our fullbacks to take advantage of Valencia's and Shaw's natural ability as flyers, and does give more room for Mkhi and Martial to cut inside. Intriguing, but defensively we'd need someone as solid as peak Busquets next to Pogba (without Busquets's smug cunty face though).
