"I'd be going with 'Utd' as the preferred term from now on, as opposed to MU."
What's the difference between these terms? "MU" is used by opponents? Just this one is often used in my language when we talk about United.

Here in Manchester it's just "United" nothing left to say really except the other lot are known as the "Bitters"

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't know that. Thanks. Just want to have my two penn'orth... The term Man U originally came from the results of games being printed out on a teleprinter and from the tables in newspapers. It was just shorthand. United was Man U and Citeh was Man C. I believe it was taken later and put into the sickening chants and songs of the opposition...most people from outside these shores don't see any insult in the term but we do... ...end of input...

The only problem I see is that players don't understand each others. I saw it in the 1st half of "MU-WHU". Looked like they didn't understand how to give a pass to Lukaku. I hope it will be changed in some time. And many will disagree but I think Rashford isn't ready to be current squad player. He can dribble well but fails very importants chances like those one vs Real Madrid. As far as the Lukaku thing goes, he is a different kind of striker to what the team have been playing with, so there will be a bedding in period. Once they've figured out his positioning he will have all the ammo he can handle. Disagree about Rashford though. He frightens defenders and is the kind of youth team talent we dream about but rarely see.

Don't savage the dude for having an opinion. Yeah but the opinion is 'Rashford isn't ready to be a current squad player.' I mean...

Swansea are wank so we should be smacking them without any problem really, even away. We smacked them away last season IIRC, but then let them draw at OT. A repeat of last year's performance at the Liberty would be lovely.

Also, I'd start Martial over Rashford. Rashford's all round game was good last week but his finishing was poor. He's also very young and doesn't need to start every game. Most importantly though, I think Martial's good performance when he came on warrants a starting spot as an opportunity to impress.

Barca hammered over two legs by Real 5-1. They didn't even have Isco and Bale off the bench in the second game with Ronnie suspended. I thought the papers narrative was nonsense and we did well against them with a dodgy makeshift defense and an offside goal. They were good but the big gulf BOLLOCKS was just that
We continued very well against WH and expect us to do the same this week. It will be random and only a few times, but I expect shellacking to feature more this year!

A little unlucky not to get a cracking goal last week(post) and that run and give to Lukaku was excellent and mature. The difference in Lukakus finnish for that goal and Rashers against Real is the diffrence right now. You are bang on though he played a lot of games last year and really shouldn't be burnt out at 19.

I just wait the moment when Rashford plays on the top level. United fans often call young players "new Ronaldo, new Vidic, new Rio and so on". Depay was "new Ronaldo" but he failed at all. Evans was "new Vidic". I even read someone said Lingard would be a top player. So I don't dream about Rashford, Fosu-Mensah and Tuanzebe that they will become star players without doubt. We can't be confident of it. Big expectations often is a big disappointment.
