Leicester have looked alright so far. With no European football this year I could see them having a decent season. 7th, knocking on the door for top 6. This will be tougher than the previous 2 but still expecting us to win convincingly.
I agree with bringing Martial in. Not really fussed who for. Mata or Mkhi ideally but it wouldn't be the end of the world if Rashford started on the bench.
3-0 United.

I think Martial should start in place of Rashford. Neither of them have had much success on the right and Rashford doesn't need to start every game. Mata/Mkhi give a different dimension on the right as well.
Also, not as urgent but I'd like to see Herrera start. I don't want him to have to slip in in a big game after basically no match practice.

A win and nothing else for me, it would be nice if Jose could give Herrera a game but Jose is the boss and let us keep the momentum going with 3 wins on the trot before the International break.

Martial and Rashford are a devastaing tag team, exhausting defenders and keeping two young players fresh and hungry, so why change it. Martial or Rashford start and tag. He may go with Herrera and a 433 and drop Mata for the start. It will be interesting to see if we make any changes at all.
I think we have 7 games in September, including 2 CL games and a League Cup game after the Intl break, so that's going to be very telling

Serious question, why do people want Herrera to start? Struggle to see what he'd offer that other players don't in match against Leicester at home. I think he'll start in a midfield three against the top teams, but for these sort of games, I can see him being resigned to the bench.

I think Matic and Herrera will rotate that partnering Pogba role in a midfield 2 when the seasons gets into full gear. As it is right now, with the start that Matic has made, there's no point swapping them around.

Because he was arguably our best player last year, and you mentioned it yourself that he would offer the same as other players against Leicester. He's also in contract renewal phase. Moot, anyway. He'll get enough games once the season gets going.

He wouldn't offer say the defensive capabilities of Matic, or offensive of Pogba, so I'm struggling to see how he fits without shunting people around.

Do you honestly believe we need to play a dedicated DM against Leicester. He combines both roles rather well when needed. He's probably our most tactically astute player, he will do exactly the job he's told to, and do it well 9 times out of 8

Move Mkhitaryan to RW and play Pogba as the LAM. Not sure a 3 man CM is needed against this lot, however, Herrera should be included when it is.

Having a specialist holding midfielder has already shown in the two games player what a difference it can make. It's not a dig at Herrera either, he's played where he's asked to and it's not his fault that he can't perform the DM role at the level that Matic can.

I'm confident that there are going to be way more than enough games to go round for everyone once the CL and Cups start up.
