Why does young Rashford and Mata need to start this, should be giving those guys a rest.... and Darmian FFS. Better be swapping with Shaw for 1/2 time

this is probably the "easiest" fixture we`ll get in the carabao cup so it does really surprise and shock me that mourinho is fielding such a strong team. and pereira and mctominay are the only two youth players in there. could have been a great chance for some others aswell.
but looking at that starting 11 i`d say elenty-nil, go for it.

Hoping for a big night for Martial and Rashford. Lovely to see Herrera get a start as well. Hope Shaw gets a decent run out.

What on earth is the reason for not starting Shaw?! Can’t be fitness if he’s played so many reserve games in recent weeks. This was surely the perfect time to bring him back into the fold?
Shaw has clearly had some attitude issues in the past 18 months, but I really hope Jose doesn’t throw away his talent for stupid reasons (assuming Shaw has moved past his attitude issues, whih apparently he has). If he really doesn’t rate Shaw then there’s no excuse not to have bought a LB in the summer.
