On this evidence, Tuanzebe should be ahead of Lindelof in the pecking order.. I' should be in front of him and I'm 48 and 17stone... He just doesn't look rgt even when under no pressure, walks like he got arthritis 😆

Tuanzebe is showing so much composure today. So impressed with him.

Jose not even giving Shaw 20 minutes. He better have a left back in mind for January.

Axel Tuanzebe has played himself right into contention here. Always looks very composed and sure of himself.

I know people are just having a bit daft crack, but any chance we could give Lindelof a chance rather than slamming him after about 3 appearances?
Considering his age and newness to the country/league/club.

Considering his age and newness to the country/league/club. He looks very poor at the moment but I am confident he will come good once he's settled, more used to English football, used to his team mates and grows in confidence with a few solid performances.

I think this would have been a good time to bring Shaw on, especially now Blind has been booked.

Yeah, other than proving a point (which is childish and a bit pathetic) why not get Shaw on for the last 10 mins?
Mata and Miki don't need the game time, we DO NOT want to risk getting Jones on, and the other two outfield subs are already on.
Give Shaw a run out. If Mourinho doesn't even trust him at 2-0 up with only 10 minutes to go, what was the point in putting him on the bench in the first place?

I agree. Never had any intention of giving him a proper run out today, so why not just let him play for the u23's again? You want a young player to get back to his best but instead you kill his confidence even more by putting him on the bench and not even giving him a decent run out. He should've started for me but if not that, at least give him 20/25 minutes. Otherwise it's pointless even naming him in the squad.

Right . Off to bed because I've a super early fucking day . Thought I'd say a few things .
McTominay reminds me of Carrick and Hargreaves rolled into one. It's so odd but he has displayed tenacity , composure , glimpses of good vision and good passing. This is a great platform for him to impress and get minutes.
Tuanzebe has been vastly excellent. I think he is vastly more equipped to play LB than Darmian. Which brings me to my next point that Darmian should only ever play at RB.
Doesn't look like Martial will start against Spurs which is a shame.
Lindelof will need a lot of time to bed in from the looks of it. He'll need to learn a lot , in a short span of time. Hope he does and I hope he can develop the same way Vidic did after his torrid few months.

5 minutes plus a bit of stoppage. I mean.. what's the point? Great that he's coming on but I hate late subs like that when the game is dead.

Here he is. Looks a bit slimmer as well.
Come on lad. Solid performance.
