The 3 at the back today wasnt bad either allowed young and valencia to get forward a lot more, that formation could realy work with pogba back in the side

If Smalling can replicate that performance today all season then Id have no problem with a back 3. With players coming back from injury it could be a useful formation. For the time being Young needs to be the left cover though. Been impressed with him this season, been fairly solid and we have a player that can whip in a killer delivery.

For all the criticism of Lingard, that cross to Lukaku for the header that hit the post is exactly the type of cross he needs and what people have been failing to deliver most of the season. Was a fantastic cross and a sublime header, really unlucky.
Then the clear run at goal which resulted in him spooning it high and wide is the reason people get pissed off with him. Give him too much time to think about something and he'll cock it up.

Apparently the new Fergie met the evilness of Judas.
This was a great win. Replacing Matic in a couple of years will though

Overslept, saw highlights and we played well. Jose has a plan and he knows what he is doing. Can’t wait to play city

I was trying to edit an FA Cup match that was the perfect image of what's Lingard – got the ball, great run but he thought too much and didn't pass or shot to the goal. He just kept running straight at the keeper.

Never did I (for even a nanosecond) think Lingard was going to score that.
And neither did any of you.

Mkhitaryan is close to being a great player. Has all the creativity, some lovely touches. Made basically worthless because of shite execution and constantly seeming a few seconds off the pace.

Well done lads. Word of appreciation for Young. Worked his socks off and looked better on the left than Darmian ever has. Felt bad for Rashford today. Looked like he kept making runs and trying to make something happen but got let down by Lukaku/service from the back. Not our best performance, mainly because it was scrappy and we couldn't always string passes together. But this wasn't parking the bus. We tried to play- just didn't have enough quality/composure at times. Missed Pogba and it feels like forever since Mkhitaryan had a good game for us. Oh well. Thanks for bottling it again Spurs. Ever reliable. 3 points and onwards! “ spurs bottling” Keep hearing this but to bottle it would mean they were favourites or a better team than us. They are neither. Fair enough. Meant more as a comment on how hyped up they are but still don't do shit when it matters.
