Uh, Clattenburg has long since 'retired'. (READ: Moved from being an annoying little scrote as a referee to being an annoying little scrote in media.) Also, Taylor is feeble. He'll be influenced by the Bridge. So he has. He's used to being in the list of useless officials so included him anyway.

not overly excited and positive about this one. i dont care how we play, if we come out of the bridge with a point i wont complain too much.

It'll be ugly/gruelling/tedious but if the end result is positive nobody should complain.

Probably the game every season where I least expect to take anything from, even compared to City away. It's just usually a really tough game. I think it'll be tight and tense with few goals. Hopefully we can nick it but in all honesty I'm not going to be too pissed if we take a draw as long as we at least show some intent in attack, even if it's just on the counter.
I know that would put us even further behind City if they beat Arsenal (which I fully expect them to do) but at least we'd have got one of the 2 toughest fixtures of the season out of the way.
Having said all that we can absolutely win the game if things go right for us, don't think either side will get too many chances so we've got to be clinical with whatever we do create.

The end result of this match has traditionally had nothing whatsoever to do with our performance, so for a change I’d love to play poor defensive football and nick an underserved win. Preferably on a dodgy refereeing decision.

Any win, in any fashion and remain injury free please. I fancy a sneaky win here this time ;-)

2-0 win and the entire squad to pick up a tiny injury right at the end of the game, that will keep them out for exactly 1 week.
Fuck you internationals.

Chelsea are there for the taking this time. I think with the dippers, there is definitely more to it than just points. we went not to lose and we kept the distance between ourselves. he probably banked on beating Huddersfield and then parking up at the bridge and taking a draw. that didn't go to plan now we have to keep the gap to as minimal as possible with city. we have to go there to win now. a draw isn't good enough. there is no reason we cant go for the win there.
expect us to be going 3-5-2 and matching them men for men. there will be couple of chances at either end and we juts have to nick it.
................ DDG
..... Bailly -- Jones -- Smalling
Tony --- Herrera - Matic --- Young
.............. Mata
........... Rom - Rashford

They could utter garbage but for us , they are never for the taking.

Before anyone demands 5-0 wins and complains about a draw, let's just remember this: Perfect time to break the habit then. Oh, and city will hammer Arsenal, so a point isn't going to be good enough for a whole bunch of reasons. This is the thing. City are in pretty incredible form and a title challenge requires being near them. A point whilst they win leaves us 7 behind them in early November, which is a lot. You can’t say a draw at Stamford Bridge in November is a bad result really, but 7 points is a big gap to City, especially when they are in form like this. It’s a tough situation.

No, they go everywhere (including Stamford Bridge) knowing they’ll get a result and play like it. It won’t happen overnight, and the title may need to come first, but we need to get that mentality again.
