Before anyone demands 5-0 wins and complains about a draw, let's just remember this: It would appear this is already being ignored.

It's at Stamford Bridge. We are NEVER good for a result there. They could utter garbage but for us , they are never for the taking. You’re right. However, look at City right now. Do they have that mentality? No, they go everywhere (including Stamford Bridge) knowing they’ll get a result and play like it. It won’t happen overnight, and the title may need to come first, but we need to get that mentality again. Spot on that, maybe it showss how far we have fallen when we start to accept draws, we need to be beating our rivals, the liverpool chelsea fixtures see's city take 6 points if we take 2 how can we be happy with that

We do not know if City will continue to perform this way week in week out. At the moment they are , and at the moment they are frightening. At the moment. We aren't there yet. So we're gonna have to be pragmatic . A win is a win. Ugly or pretty. We can't be expecting something which we can't deliver. I just hope the lads come out with maximum focus and effort and no sloppy bullshit. Especially Mkhitaryan.

Mkhitaryan should not be playing in this game in his current shite form, the game will just pass him by.

Never mind your eleventy-nil rubbish. Just realised I had to fix your thread title because 'Nov 5' is rank and WE ARE NOT FUCKING AMERICAN.

That won't stop the Facebook warriors calling for his head if results don't go out way. City's form is skewing our own results which despite the Pep fanboys shouts are actually very good.

We want to challenge for the title and that means challenging them. It’s early days and I’m certainly not predicting their form will continue unabated all season, or that a bad result on Sunday will cost us the title, but I’m just saying that we can’t look at ourselves in a vacuum. Our results this season have been very good, but the bar has been raised at this moment in time. No one should be calling for Jose’s head, obviously, though criticism over some of his recent comments (and, for some, the Anfield game tactics) is fair enough.

There is no skewing of results, we've been good, they've been better. We need to be get better.

we need to stay in touching distance for if/when they do have a wobble. a gap of 7 points would have to be a huge wobble for them to overturn and can anyone honestly say they can envisage City slowing down? they have a big squad now and imo the best we have seen them.
if we got a result against Huddersfield we could have played this safer but now we have to show championship mentality. we have enough time to fight for 2nd, 3rd and 4th, now we have to fight for 1st

Our schedule gets easier after this too btw. Home to Newcastle and Brighton, then away to Watford and Arsenal and home to City!? It's not exactly a cakewalk, but if we are within 3-5 points on Dec 10 after that City game I would be delighted. We need reinforcements from injury and possibly a Jan purchase
