Good game, good win.
For people who have been having a moan after any loss or draw, we're currently on to get 87 points from our points per game tally. That's more than enough to win the title, or at least come bloody close. If City get in the high 90's, that hardly our or Mourinho's fault.
Oh, and a goal difference of +65. Just had a similar conversation with my old man. Most other years Utd would have a nice lead at this stage. We just have to hang in there and wait for their slips.

Best start since we last won the league. Can't legislate for city's momentum. Just have to take it into our own hands and beat them.

Tbf to Lingard he started the run for his goal halfway in our half.
Shame some of our more talented players (Martial and Rashford excepted) can't do something like this more often/at all.

Enjoyed that a lot which isn’t something you can say about a lot of our Games the past few years. As others have pointed out it’s our highest point tally at this stage for a while and we’re second highest scorers behind city. I don’t care what anyone says City are not invincible and i feel a little slump coming.

They were beyond lucky against Huddersfield so its inevitable they'll drop points, we concentrate on our own results and we'll get our chances to cut the gap. We need to beat Arsenal on Sat though. Drop points there and it'll be a mountain to climb.
Must admit I want us to be the first to get a defeat out of them though.

Usually don't mind too much if I have to miss a weekday game due to it being on while I'm at work, but there were some sweet goals in this one, shame I missed it. So glad Martial is scoring again this season, already has 8 in all competitions this season. Keep that shit up man.

Only negative thing is Matic’s injury. Great game!

Only negative thing is Matic’s injury. Great game! Any news on that? Jose said it was muscular but he didn’t walk down the tunnel. So a major doubt for arsenal but a maybe for city

I'll be watching this one down the pub...so in order not to get completely pissed, please can we have a not-fanatically panicky win...thanks... Also, does anyone here think that Herrera, who doesn't seem to fit our current system, could be a really decent no. 10? I think he has the technique and vision to do it... Gotta be worth a go... I’d try Herrera, Matic and Pogba together with Pogba given a free-ish role, with an eye to getting into the box, almost playing that 10 position. I still maintain my position that Pogba is more of a 10
