Moyes : Aspire to be like City This board : We'll do well to beat Watford. Swings n' Roundabouts That's not the point mate. I expect us to beat Watford and play well but I expect the same before nearly every game. There's a difference between that and demanding we beat teams by X amount of goals cos City did it. You can beat a team narrowly and still put in a good performance.

Moyes : Aspire to be like City This board : We'll do well to beat Watford. Swings n' Roundabouts Well, you can say we should beat them by 2 or 3, but it will still be a tough and close match. Think we're just trying to be realistic. No need to mug people off all the time because they expect us to beat the likes of fucking Watford. If that's the situation we're currently in then more things are going wrong than right. I expect Manchester United to comfortably beat Watford. If we don't expect that, something is fundamentally wrong.

I don't look at any game and think we should beat them, because someone else did. Eventually using that logic somewhere along the line people will come up with Botswana are better than Brazil via (300)6 degrees of separation.

I expect to beat them too and United should always expect to beat anyone, but to say that we should comfortably win to have a chance at the title just because City scored 6 against them is ridiculous in my opinion. We've beat Everton 4-0 and City almost lost against them at home. Does that mean they're shit? Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I see things atm.

Well that's the point I've been making this morning. I have no issue with expecting us to beat Watford, we simply fucking have to if we want to keep up with City. From a personal point of view I also expect a better performance than the shite against Brighton. Just don't care if that means we win 1-0 or 3-0.

Look at my previous post mate, nothing to do with how City are playing. I've obviously missed some previous on this.

We've been shit recently and we definitely must improve, simply because we can't win a title by playing shit and being lucky.

It’s nearly December., we’re in the middle of a fairly hectic run of fixtures. Any away win is a good one.

Some report in the papers that Shaw and Valencia are 'officially' the two fittest players in the squad. Saw that. Fair play to him, only took him a year and 4 months. Perhaps Rooney mentoring the youngsters wasn't the best idea.... I bet he'd give his left nut to be back here considering the state of Everton at the minute?
